About Kathy

Kathy grew up in the suburbs of Arlington, TX. Her passion for dentistry was sparked when she first visited her orthodontist in high school. She has had a heart for it ever since! Her compassion and patients-first philosophy is reflected in her volunteer work with Allan Saxe Dental Clinic, Dental Health Arlington, Texas Mission of Mercy, and Miles for Smiles. In her pursuit to be a dentist, she studied at the University of Texas at Arlington where she earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She continued on to earn a Masters in Medical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2019. Continuing her journey in dentistry, she began working chairside with Dr. Patel as the lead dental assistant, where she’s become an invaluable team member. Outside of dentistry she is an excellent artist, loves hiking, seeing new places, and watching movies.
