About Karina

Karina was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She aspires to become a dentist and eventually having her own dental clinic in her hometown of Grand Prairie, TX. She has one more semester left at UNT Dallas until she graduates with a B.S. in Biology with Chemistry & Psychology minors. Her passion for biology led to her joining Tri-Beta, a biological honor society for science majors. In addition to Tri-Beta, she’s the historian for the Pre-Health Professionals Club at UNT Dallas.

Karina enjoys going on walks with her Golden Doodle and Great Pyrenees, trying out new places to eat, and volunteering at the North Texas Food Bank in her free time. She’s an avid movie watcher, and loves to shop.
